Summer Session 2025
We are excited to kick off our Summer Session 2025 on Wednesday, June 11. 8U/Mite and 10U/Squirt hockey players will enjoy 75 minute ice sessions twice a week, followed by 45 minute dryland sessions each week until July 31 (with a break during the 4th of July week).
We will focus on our skating development with a keen focus on our edgework, power, and speed. We will incorporate stickhandling, shooting, team play and raising our compete level throughout the sessions.
Our drylands will incorporate a variety of activities including shooting, stickhandling, passing, plyometrics, ladder drills, team building activities, and more.
Additionally, we encourage our hockey players to practice honing their skills off the ice when away from Hockey Time. We will provide weekly videos with ideas of stickhandling, shooting, and plyometrics to try at home, if desired. The work we do off the ice will translate to growth on the ice.
We will also have a lot of fun along the way. Hockey is an exciting and fun sport. Let's work hard and enjoy it!
Goalies
Our highly experienced goalie coach will spend the first 30-40 minutes of each on-ice practice working individually with our goalies on goalie-specific training. Our goalies will then be incorporated into our drills to receive further shots and guidance. In the drylands, our goalies will focus on broader development with plyometrics, ladders, team building, and more.
Ages
8U/Mite and 10U/Squirts will participate together. We appropriately separate hockey players based on their skill sets as needed, depending on the drill. It is expected that players are not completely new to skating and have some initial experience playing hockey.
All players are required to wear full hockey equipment.

2024-2025 Season
In our 2024 - 2025 Season, we offer a variety of opportunities to grow our hockey skills, compete level, sportsmanship, and love of the game.
We offer day camps such as our MLK Jr. Day Skate & Dryland and Presidents' Day Skate & Dryland to help our skaters hone their development while being productive and having fun on days off from school.
We are exploring a Spring Session for homeschoolers. This would more likely take place in May and early June.
In general, we will develop our skating, passing, shooting, and compete levels, while enjoying the awesome game of hockey.
In our dryland sessions, we continue our training by working on our shooting, stickhandling, and passing, along with plyometrics, ladder drills, and team building activities.
