Program Overview
GRIT PASSION GROWTH
When we approach our activities with a tenacious GRIT and joyful PASSION, we see GROWTH.
At Hockey Time, we strive to bring these three elements together. Let's work hard, enjoy the wonderful game of hockey, and take strides forward, both on and off the ice.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Does your skater want extra skill development in addition to his/her regular skating activities? Does your skater value focused development where he/she is both encouraged to push to new heights and inspired to enjoy the exciting game of hockey? Hockey Time can help!
Our Fall Session runs from late September through mid-December (with a break the week of Thanksgiving), and our Winter Session runs from January through early March. Each ice session is 75 minutes long and each dryland is 1 hour. In our initial Fall Session, Mite/U8/U10 and Squirt/U12 will skate together. These skaters will be separated by age/skill at the appropriate times for proper skill development. More details on the Fall Session can be found under the Leagues tab.
The first 3/4 of each ice time will focus on skating and skill development. The latter 1/4 will entail scrimmaging and small area games, putting into practice what we have just learned.
Signs ups for Fall and Winter Sessions take place separately.
We are also exploring a Summer Session and will provide more details in the coming months.
PROGRAM EXPANSION
We will expand Hockey Time as interest indicates. As awareness and participation in Hockey Time grows, we plan to separate the Mites/U8/U10 and Squirts/U12, add Peewees and/or Bantams, and add additional days of ice time each week as interest dictates. We are also looking into creating a Summer Session. We appreciate your help spreading the word about Hockey Time and sharing your interests in expanded age groups so we can adjust with the interests of our hockey community.
Please provide us feedback about program expansion through our Feedback Form.
Help your child take their game to the next level while enjoying the wonderful game of hockey!
