Presidents’ Day Skate/Dryland

Our Presidents' Day Skate & Dryland includes 75 minutes of on-ice development followed by a 60 minute dryland training. Building the foundational skills of skating and edgework is a high priority, mixed with other skill development, and fostering a love of the game. Our excellent goalie coach Sarah Schneider will also be present to work closely with our goalies.

Frequently Asked Questions

How will the practices be structured?

We will spend 3/4 of our time focused on skill development and 1/4 of our time scrimmaging and/or playing short sided games. Skating/edge work will be a key focus, as we layer on other crucial skills. Having fun will be layered throughout.

The dryland session will include a variety of skills including shooting, stickhandling, ladder drills, plyometrics, chalk talk, and more.

2024 - 2025 Season

In our 2024 - 2025 Season, we offer a variety of opportunities to grow our hockey skills, compete level, sportsmanship, and love of the game.

We offer camps such as our MLK Jr. Day Skate & Dryland and Presidents' Day Skate & Dryland to help our skaters hone their development while being productive and having fun on days off from school.

We are exploring a Spring Session for homeschoolers.  This would more likely take place in May and early June.

We just solidified our Summer Session details and will have our website updated very soon with all the details.

In general, we will develop our skating, passing, shooting, and compete levels, while enjoying the awesome game of hockey.

In our dryland sessions, we continue our training by working on our shooting, stickhandling, and passing, along with plyometrics and team building activities.
