Hockey Time Events
Fall Session
Our 2024 Fall Session included a mixture of on-ice development and dryland training. Each ice session was 75 minutes long and the drylands each 1 hour. This Session ran from late September through mid-December with us coming together for weekly one-ice and dryland training.
Building the foundational skills of skating and edgework is a high priority, mixed with other skill development, and fostering a love of the game. Hockey is an exciting sport. Let's enjoy it and grow together!
Christmas Camp
Our 2024 Christmas Camp was a two day event for 8U/Mites and 10U/Squirts respectively. Each group had a 75 minute ice session and 60 minute dryland session each day. We push the hockey players to develop their skating/edgework, hone their stickhandling/passing/shooting, grow their love of the game, and seek to build their teamwork as well.
Day Camps
As hockey players in the area are off school, we incorporate 1 or 2 days Camps, providing a productive, fun development opportunities for our hockey players on days off. Examples of this include our MEA, Election Day, MLK Jr. Day, and Presidents' Day Skate & Dryland Camps. These typically include 75 minutes of on-ice development followed by 60 minutes of dryland, and typically take place at West St. Paul Ice Arena.
Summer Session
We are excited to kick off our Summer Session 2025 on Wednesday, June 11. 8U/Mite and 10U/Squirt hockey players will enjoy 75 minute ice sessions twice a week, followed by 45 minute dryland sessions each week until July 31 (with a break during the 4th of July week).
We focus on our skating development with a keen focus on our edgework, power, and speed. We incorporate stickhandling, shooting, team play and raising our compete level throughout the session.
Our drylands incorporate a variety of activities including shooting, stickhandling, passing, plyometrics, ladder drills, team building activities, and more.
Spring Session
We are exploring a Spring Session for homeschoolers. This would more likely take place in May and early June. More details to come on this soon.
Private/Semi-Private Lessons
Is your hockey player seeking further development and individual coaching to help take their game to the next level? We will work with you and your skater to better understand the needs and areas of desired growth for your hockey player to help hone skills and strengthen his/her game.
We have options for morning ice time at West St. Paul Ice Arena, and do a sliding scale on cost, depending on the number of skaters participating in the session. The maximum number of skaters in a session is 6. These private/semi-private lessons work well with other skaters of similar age/skill set for your skaters to compete with, so it's a great opportunity to see if friends have interest in joining your hockey player in these private/semi-private lessons.
Let's work together to help your hockey player take their game to the next level.
Throughout our various events, we have a lot of fun along the way. Hockey is an exciting and fun sport. Let's work hard and enjoy it!
